Cuthona poritophages Rudman, 1979
|Maximum size: ( )
This is a small, cream animal frosted with brown on its notum. Its
cerata have brown cores and faint white rings.
We haven't seen Cuthona poritophages on Maui but
Larry Harris has recorded it from the Big Island. It's a nocturnal Cuthona that feeds on corals of the
genus Porites rather than
Big Island: widely distributed in the Indo-Pacific.
First recorded in Hawaii from the Kona Coast of the Big Island by Larry
