Maximum size:  5 mm.

Identification:  The body of this aeolid is light blue with a pale yellow medial band on the head and notum. The cerata have light blue bases, a subapical band of pale yellow and translucent tips. The rhinophores are pale yellow with translucent bases and blood red tips. The cephalic tentacles are translucent-red and there is a bright violet patch on the side of the head.

Natural history:  The two known animals were found in moderately protected to moderately exposed rocky locations at about 12 m (40 ft).

Distribution:  Maui: also known from French  Polynesia.

Taxonomic notes:  First recorded in Hawaii from Napili Bay, Maui by Terry Gosliner in April, 1994.
