Maximum size:  3.2 mm.

Identification:  This is a cream animal speckled with brown on the sides and front of its notum. It may occasionally have yellow highlights. The rhinophores are simple and their bases are surrounded by a low shelf. There are two large, lumpy extrabranchial processes but no obvious branchia. A band of dark, lateral blotches extends from just behind the processes to the tip of the foot.

Natural history:  Goniodoridella sp. #1 is a moderately rare species found in moderately exposed to exposed rocky habitats at depths of 2-9 m (6-30 ft).

Distribution:  Big Island, Maui and Oahu.

Taxonomic notes:  It was first recorded in Hawaii by Terry Gosliner.
