Bullina rubeopunctata Kosuge, 1979
Maximum size: 7 mm
shell length.
Identification:
This
species
has
a
beige-white
shell
with
two
spiral
rows
of
reddish-brown
blotches.
Natural history:
Bullina rubeopunctata
is
known from a single shell trawled on sand at a depth of 350 m (1148 ft).
Distribution:
Kammu Seamount (sometimes spelled Kanmu Seamount).
Taxonomic notes:
It
was
first recorded
in
Hawaii
at
Kammu
Seamount during
the 2nd and 3rd cruises of the R/V
Kaiyomaru in 1972 to 1973 (reported in Kosuge, 1979).
