Chromodoris aspersa (Gould, 1852)

predator damage
Almost the entire
posterior half of the mantle and an anterior piece, plus a rhinophore,
are missing from this individual, probably due to predation. It was
found drifting in the water column and was still able to crawl when
placed on the bottom.
