Maximum size:
1.1 mm shell
length.
Identification:
The
shell
of this species is slender with fine spiral striae
that are
more prominent on the abapical portion of each
whorl.
Natural history:
On
Maui,
shells of Cima(?)
sp.
#1 are
rare in subtidal
sand samples from depths of 55 m (180 ft) or more.
The one Midway shell
was in a
sand sample from 27 m (90 ft).
Distribution:
Maui
and Midway.
Taxonomic notes:
This
species
is similar to shells
placed in the genus Cima on
line at the Natural
History
Museum of
Rotterdam.
