Creseis acicula (Rang, 1828)

Maximum size: 3.9 mm shell
length (larger fragments suggest a length of around 10
mm).
Identification:
This species has a very slender, transparent-white, conical shell.
Natural history:
Fragments of Creseis acicula
shells are moderately common in sand samples.
Distribution:
Maui and Midway: circumglobal.
Taxonomic notes:
Creseis clava
(Rang, 1828) is a synonym.
