Diacria danae Spoel, 1968

Maximum size: 1.7 mm shell
length.
Identification:
This species has a transparent, strongly inflated shell edged in pale
amber.
Natural history:
Shells of Diacria danae are moderately
common in sand samples.
Distribution:
Maui and Midway: widespread
in the Indo-Pacific.
Taxonomic notes:
Hawaiian shells appear to be somewhat smaller, on average, than most populations.
