Hallaxa translucens Gosliner & Johnson, 1994

Maximum size: about 30 mm.
Identification:
This
is
a cream Hallaxa decorated with irregular gray-brown spots. The rhinophores may be dusky.
Natural history: Hallaxa translucens is known from two animals. The 2021 animal was found at an exposed, rocky site at about 11 m (35 ft).
Distribution:
Big Island: also known from the Philippines.
Taxonomic notes:
It was first recorded in Hawaii from the Big Island by the
ARMS team on Aug. 13, 2016.
