Identification:  This is a cream Hallaxa decorated with irregular gray-brown spots. The rhinophores may be dusky. Natural history:  Hallaxa translucens is known from two animals. The 2021 animal was found at an exposed, rocky site at about 11 m (35 ft). Distribution:  Big Island: also known from the Philippines.
