Hypselodoris imperialis (Pease, 1860)

eggs, detail
completed egg masses photographed on Nov. 23rd
shows paired animals laying eggs: In the first photo, the left animal is just completing the right mass while the right
animal has been blocked in its turn and is extending the ribbon of the left
mass around the bottom of the right mass. The egg ribbon is extruded from the right side behind the head, then passed under
the body and attached by the foot while the animals turn
counterclockwise.

starting to lay eggs (obvious for right animal, deduced from posture for
left animal); The egg mass is being extruded from the right side and
passing under the foot for attachment as the animals turn
counterclockwise.
