Limacina bulimoides (d'Orbigny, 1836)

Maximum size: 1.2 mm shell
length.
Identification:
The shell of this species has a tall spire with weakly inflated whorls. (Note 1)
Natural history:
Shells of Limacina bulimoides are common
in sand samples.
Distribution:
Maui and Midway: circumtropical.
