Identification:
Shells
of this species are intermediate in size between Nesiodostomia
sp. #1 and Nesiodostomia sp. #3.
Natural history:
Shells
of Nesiodostomia sp.
#2 are rare in beach drift.
Distribution:
Maui.
Taxonomic notes:
There
is some question about separating these shells from the other
unnamed Nesiodostomia spp. (particularly Nesiodostomia sp. #3).
