Identification:
The
shell
of this species is relatively thick and
barrel-shaped with
prominent spiral striae.
Natural history:
Shells
of
Ondina sp. #1 are rare in beach
drift but
more common in subtidal sand samples.
Distribution:
Maui,
French Frigate Shoals and Midway.
