Pleurobranchaea brockii Bergh, 1897

Identification:
This
is
a
cream species with rust-red reticulations and white flecks on its
notum. The upper surface of the foot has white patches and the
rhinophores grade to rust-red.
Natural history:
Pleurobranchaea brockii is known from one young animal found crawling on sand during a night dive at a depth of 11 m (35 ft).
Distribution:
Oahu: widely distributed in the Indo-Pacific
Taxonomic notes: It was first recorded in Hawaii at "Cathedrals," Oahu by Corinne Lawson on July 16, 2025.
