Maximum size: 16 mm shell
length.
Identification:
Shells
of this species are mottled brown and cream. They have low axial
ribs and deep sutures.
Natural history:
Nothing
is known about the natural history of Pyramidella insularum.
Distribution:
Oahu.
Taxonomic notes: This may be the species Kay, 1979 mentions under additional records as Pyramidella canaliculata Sowerby, 1873. It is listed in Severns, 2011 as Elusa sp.
