Maximum size: 1.8 mm shell
length.
Identification:
The shells of this species are relatively thick, smooth and conical.
The animal is cream with a greenish black line on top of its head.
Natural history:
Shells of unidentified pyramidellid #5
are rare in beach drift but more common in subtidal sand samples. Live
animals are occasionally found in
shallow, rocky habitats.
Distribution:
Maui.
Taxonomic notes:
Perhaps this could be an Odostomia?
