Volvarina unilineata (Jousseaume, 1875)
Maximum size: 3 mm shell length (Kay, 1979).
Identification:
This is a small, elongate species with a translucent shell and obscure sutures.
The animal is white and the eyes are black.
Natural history: Volvarina unilineata
is a moderately common species found in rocky habitats at moderately
protected to moderately exposed sites. It's nocturnal and may be
sporadically common at some sites.
Distribution:
Big Island, Maui and Kauai: widely distributed in the Indo-Pacific.
Taxonomic notes:
It's listed in Kay, 1979, as Volvarina fusiformis. (Note 1) It's listed in Severns, 2011, as Volvarina nevilli.

Observations and
comments:
Note 1: The description of the live animal in Kay, 1979, appears closer to Dentimargo pumila and vice versa. Perhaps, they were transposed?
