Carminodoris sp. #2
|Maximum size: 20 mm (Gosliner,
et. al., 2008).
This species is similar to Carminodoris bifurcata with
bi-colored branchia and flame-like white markings on its rhinophores.
However, it differs from that species in having proportionately smaller
#2 is known from only five or six animals.
Maui, Oahu, Kauai, French Frigate Shoals and Maro Reef.
First recorded in Hawaii off Makena, Maui by PF on Aug. 25, 1993.
