Arminacea
Nudibranchs
of the suborder Arminacea are a heterogeneous assemblage that may or
may not be monophyletic. Some genera use dorsal cerata for
respiration while others have gills concealed between the foot and
mantle (Armina and Hisiomena in the Arminidae). Arminids are predators either on cnidarians or bryozoans. Three
families are known from Hawaii.
