Maximum size:
38 mm shell diameter (Severns, 2011).
Identification:
This
is
a large, top-shaped species with broad, smooth
spiral cords. It is light brown with finely
interrupted, dark brown spiral lines.
Natural history:
Architectonica
trochlearis has been dredged in sand from
70 m (230 ft). (Severns, 2011)
Distribution:
Oahu: also known from the Philippines.
