Identification:  This is a cream dorid with small, closely-spaced tubercles that are somewhat irregular in size. The notum is flecked with brown and opaque-white pigment circles the larger tubercles. The branchia are greenish-brown and the rhinophores are brown with cream tips. Natural history:  Carminodoris sp. #22 is known from one animal (probably juvenile) found in a tide pool. Distribution:  Big Island. Taxonomic notes:  It was first recorded in Hawaii from Holoholokai Beach, Big Island by Alison Young on Dec. 18, 2024.
