Ceratodoris sp. #3

Identification:
This
is a brown animal with white reticulation.
There are long slender processes on the notum and the rhinophores have
many cup-shaped lamellae on their posterior faces. The brown background
is lighter on the central notum.
Natural history: Ceratodoris sp. #3 is known from a single animal found on sand at 17 m (55 ft).
Distribution: Big Island: may also be known from the Marquesas.
Taxonomic notes: It was first found in Hawaii at Garden Eel Cove, Big Island by Allison Gordon on Feb. 24, 2022. It's similar to "Okenia sp. 5" in Gosliner, et. al. (2018). That species and relatives have been moved to Ceratodoris.
