Chromodoris striatella Bergh, 1876

Maximum size: about 45 mm.
Identification:
This
dorid
is cream with fine longitudinal black stripes and dusky patches on its
notum. Ther's an orange stripe on the margin while the gills and
rhinophores are orange, highlighted with white and brown, respectively.
Natural history:
Chromodoris striatella
is known from a single animal, possibly found in Kaneohe Bay.
Distribution:
Oahu: widely
distributed in the western Pacific.
Taxonomic notes:
It was first recorded in Hawaii from Oahu by Paul Zahl in 1959 (as Glossodoris lineolata). (Note 1)
