Identification:
This
is a large species with a tuberculate notum. The tubercles are
decorated with orange spots and the rachis is lined with orange.
Natural history:
Gymnodoris rubropapulosa
is known from a single animal dredged from 60-90 m (197-295 ft) off
Oahu.
Distribution:
Oahu: widely distributed in the Indo-Pacific.
Taxonomic notes: It was first
recorded in Hawaii by Andrew Adams.
