Maximum size:
5 mm shell diameter. (Kay, 1979)
Identification:
The
shells of this species tend to decoil with growth.
The sides are flat and margined with granular cords.
Natural history:
Shells
of Spirolaxis
exornatus
have been dredged from depths of 200 m (656 ft).
(Kay, 1979)
Distribution:
Oahu
and Lanai: also known from the Gulf of Oman.
Taxonomic notes:
It's listed in Kay, 1979 as Pseudomalaxis
cf. cornuammonis
