The family Dendrodorididae
includes large, nocturnal dorids that lack a radula. They feed on
sponges
by dissolving their tissues with glandular secretions and sucking
up the remains. Most are soft bodied and some have elaborate tubercles
on the notum. There are at least 13 species in Hawaii in two genera (Dendrodoris and Doriopsilla).
Unidentified
dorid #14 may also be in this family.
