Maximum size:  ( )

Identification:  This is a large species. It has a brown notum with white flecks and angular, gray patches. It's rhinophores are white, tipped with dark brown. Its branchia are dusky brown terminally and the edge of the mantle is iridescent-cream.

Natural history:  Dendrodoris sp. #6 has been photographed from HURL submersibles at 222 m (728 ft).

Distribution:  Lanai.

Taxonomic notes:  It was first recorded in Hawaii by the Undersea Research Laboratory (HURL) during RCV-150 ROV,  #126 d2, principal investigator Richard Grigg, Nov. 25, 2001.
